Banksy Ramsbury Manor Takeover

Internationally renowned artist to move in next door

The Raven can exclusively reveal that plans for a major art foundation at Ramsbury Manor have been a front for a Banksy installation which will see derelict police vans in the Lake and giant pink flamingos on the lawn.  Operating with his usual caution and mystery, the street artist is said to have been working for several years on the scheme which is guaranteed to simultaneously boost and crash house prices in the area.

“I reckon I saw him drinking in the Crown and Anchor the other day,” said one resident,  “only I can’t be sure cos I don’t know what he looks like.”

“Banks in Ramsbury?” asked another local. “Excellent news!  It’s not been the same since the Building Society closed.”

There are also rumours that Ramsbury can now look forward to a new mural on the toilets in the Memorial Hall carpark,  pedalos on the Kennet, and disco lights on the Tree at Christmas.  The Parish Council could not be reached for comment.
